In een recentelijk bericht op Android Magazine werd het ontbreken van VoIP als een van de grootste nadelen genoemd. In een reactie op het bericht werd terecht gesteld dat het slechts wachten was op een applicatie die VoIP mogelijk maakt. En dat is precies wat deze applicatie doet.

VOXFON detecteert automatisch of er een internationaal telefoonnummer gebeld wordt en biedt dan goedkopere opties aan via VoIP.
